This project was during my third year in high school as I expanded toward performance. This was an homage to Gertie the Dinosaur, while also explain the term "Fanboys" to freshman. This was also my solution to performance as believed performance pieces at the time lacked animation besides CGI effects. I believe animation extremely useful tool in limiting the amount of performers while also gaining the attention of audiences if done in the foreground. Animation is also supposed to trick people in the idea of life, and what better use of that concept than performance.
ANIMATED BACH DOUBLE

A year later, I decided to expand my process through the idea of music, and tried syncing my animation with stop motion puppets. Although it doesn't finish the song "Bach Double" I still believe the piece is successful as it describes the energy of the song while following along with it. The animation was based around a painting describing my carrier as a violin street performer.
