UNDERSTANDING MIX MEDIA
3D/Digital Media
These projects are meant to show my evolution through 3D and 2D. Although, unlike other animations, these also focus on narrative through mix media. Although these narratives are simple, it helps the viewer better digest each scene and gives the piece an overall logic. These pieces also shine as how far I could take my art if only stay in my realm of comfort.
THE STAR
Dec 2018, SAIC, Intro to 3D Animation, Chicago
This project was my last project during my time at SAIC pre-college, or the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The Star was also the first 3D animation while also transitioning into more digital media. For this project, the struggle was parenting, as well as understanding the program Maya.
THE GORILLA AND THE MIRROR
June 2020, Marwen, Printmaking through Animation, Personal Project, Chicago
The Gorilla was the last project of animation before being accepted to Rhode Island School of Design, as well as it was incomplete during the deadlines. However, it ended up being the most ambitious project to date, introducing traditional, 3D animation, wood carving, traditional watercoloring, and stop-motion. It also has the clearest story, which couldn't be done without my instructors during Highschool.
THE CATERPILLAR

Dec 2021, RISD, Animation Practices,
Providence
This was a final for my first Digital Media class at RISD. Unlike other projects, the focus was towards the setting rather than character animation, seeing if the animated characters would feel nature existing in this world. This project also played with the use of camera angles framing, and lighting, using digital programs such as blender and DaVinci to expand upon them.

Unfinished Animation Reel
DecDec 2022-Dec 2025. Here is some work I am currently working on, have given up working on and are overall unfinished. They are meant to show off my skill as an animator and also show where I will be planning on going in my career. Song copyrighted by Toby Fox
April 2023, Communicating Science
This was a group project which was meant to teach young kids about animals and time, and hypothesis how animals could perceive time of. This work not only represents animation, but also the sound production and design of our group. All music was either made by the group or gained from Creative Commons

HUMMING-BIRD'S TIME
A NEW WORLD
Oct 2023, Intermediate Live Action
This project focused more on compositional shots along with playing with sound. The theme was the viewer trying to understand the life of the space due to lack of people or animals. The POV starts to understand its sentiance, embraces it, and then dies.
